Our client, in Midland, Ontario, is seeking an OBGYN to join their expanding team. They are a leading healthcare provider located in the Huronia /Wendat region of Central Ontario. They are committed to providing high-quality care with a focus on patient-centered services and community well-being. Our client offers a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency care, surgical services, and specialized programs in women’s health, including obstetrics and gynecology.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician with a passion for patient care. Proficiency in minimally invasive surgery is highly desirable and will be seen as a valuable asset in this role

On Call: 1:4 home call; ensuring a balanced approach to work-life demands

Remuneration:

Generous AFP (37.5 hours per week)
Shadow billing
On Call HOCC
Requirements and Education:

Medical Degree with specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent recognized by the Provincial Licensing Body.
Successful candidates will be eligible to hold or hold independent license with the CPSO.
Must have considerable and relevant clinical practice experience.
Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association in good standing.
Fellowship certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is considered an asset.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in Ontario
