Work & Experience
General management of the medical practice, including consultations in surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and ENT.
Follow-up of inpatients and outpatients, with a particular focus on emergency obstetric and neonatal care (including direct management of premature infant care).
Minor surgeries (cesarean section, appendectomy, herniorrhaphy, cystectomy, exploratory laparotomy, minor surgery), emergency medical care and psychosocial support for cases of gender-based sexual violence (through post-exposure prophylaxis).
Epidemiological surveillance, compilation and monitoring of health data (through the National Health Information System). Support for promotional activities including nutrition, antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PONC), and preschool care (PSC), promotion of complete immunization, reproductive health (including post-abortion care), adolescent sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, environmental health, etc.
Quality assurance and promotion of universal precautions at the Dilolo General Referral Hospital
Performance of ECG (electrocardiogram) and ultrasound examinations
Management of medications and medical supplies (including pharmacy quality assurance, prescription monitoring to ensure appropriateness, etc.)
General management of the medical practice, including consultations in surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and ENT.
