Psychiatrist – Ontario (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Location: Ontario (Multiple Sites)
Client Type: Outpatient Clinic

Our client, a physician-led, interdisciplinary clinic network, is seeking General Practitioners to join their growing Ontario locations. They take pride in providing patient centered, evidence-based care through a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, neurologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals.

Their Ontario clinics are expanding, and they are seeking Psychiatrists to provide specialized care for patients experiencing psychiatric symptoms related to brain injury, chronic pain, or other neurological and medical conditions.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our interdisciplinary care team, providing specialist input on complex mental health and behavioral presentations. This role involves psychiatric assessments, diagnostic input, collaborative treatment planning, and oversight of patients requiring integrated psychiatric and rehabilitation care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric consultations and assessments for patients with post-concussion syndrome, chronic pain, mood and anxiety disorders, or trauma-related conditions
Provide diagnostic expertise and pharmacological management as part of individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with neurologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other care providers in a rehabilitation setting
Complete required medical reports and clinical documentation for injury-related and insurance-related care (e.g., MVA, WSIB)
Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and contribute to the development of best practices in psychiatric rehabilitation
Ensure documentation adheres to Ontario medical standards and professional guidelines
Requirements

Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
American Board Certified – Eligible for Licensure with CPSO
Certified in Psychiatry by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or American Board Certified Certified
CMPA membership or equivalent liability insurance
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting
